A Workshop on Food Safety was held in Shanghai, organized by CIQA, an entity related to AQSIQ that drives trade facilitation activities between China and business partners.
The activity included the participation of Uruguayan exporting companies, importing firms, representatives of the Ministry of Livestock of Uruguay-a delegation headed by Minister Enzo Benezh-and authorities of the National Meat Institute.
After the Workshop, which was held at the National Convention Center in Shanghai, the Memorandum of Understanding between CIQA and INAC was signed.
Previously, in the morning, the delegation visited the city’s port.
