The 18th edition of SIAL CHINA was held, a trade fair in which INAC has participated uninterruptedly since 2014. It had approximately 3,400 exhibitors from 67 countries, covering an area of 162,000 square meters.
This Edition's INAC’s Stand was the largest since the presence of the Uruguayan Meats in China began: 512 square meters, where 15 slaughterhouses and 12 companies of brokers and traders took care of their clients.
The first day as well as the second, the stand had a great movement of visitors throughout the day. The Commissioner of the European Union, Agricultural and Rural Development Responsible, Phul Hogan, made one of the selected stops of the vip tour in the Uruguayan Meats’ Stand.
In the framework of the participation in the trade fair, a reception for 250 people was offered at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai Hotel, where Uruguayan Meats were offered and the slaughterhouses companies feted their clients. Three types of cuts were tasted (broad steak, french rack and bovine neck) Asian and Western style.
The reception was opened with the words of the Minister Counselor of the Uruguayan Embassy in China Paola Repeto and the Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of Uruguay Enzo Benech.
