Meat processing

Cattle sent by farms to slaughter plants is purchased by these to process it.

These establishments are authorized and controlled -as regards hygiene and sanitary aspects— by the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries - MGAP.

It is important to highlight the technological development of our slaughter plants, for many of them meet the most demanding international regulations, which makes it possible for them to export their products to the most demanding markets.

The industrial process carried out at said plants entails several stages and results in different products: bone-in meat, boneless meat, leather, variety meat and byproducts. The main final product at this stage is the bone-in or boneless meat, chilled or frozen, with or without packing.
