New services for producers

Date: 10/09/2009

SEIIC - Black Boxes launched during a press conference the new communication means agricultural producers have available to get to know the information of the herds they sent to slaughter.

The IT Director, Engineer Hugo Köncke, member of the SEIIC Management Committee, explained that producers will be able to receive information about the weight of their cattle at the first and second scale on their cell phone, if they register their number at INAC.

This facility is added to services available at INAC's web page and through 0800 4622, a free line especially thought for producers.

Likewise, the 2x1 proposal was presented, which allows producers to access data from INAC's traceability system and from the national livestock identification system, MGAP's SIRA, by using a single password, Köncke explained.
